About Prisma Collection
Bespoke Progressives
The Prisma Bespoke Collection by OTL Lens Lab is designed for individual visual precision, delivering exceptional clarity and wide, distortion-free vision.
Each lens is custom-engineered to match the wearer’s eye curvature, ensuring seamless adaptation, comfort, and performance.
From daily use to specialised environments, Prisma delivers next-level optical intelligence.
Advanced Progressive Lens Optimization
Prisma technology enhances progressive lens performance through balanced visual zones, smoother transitions, and optimized wearer comfort.
Angular & Uneven Areas
Conventional progressive lenses often create abrupt transitions between viewing zones, resulting in distortion and discomfort.
Balanced Transition Zones
Prisma designs soften the transition between near and far vision areas for a more natural and comfortable viewing experience.
Traditional Lenses
Standard progressive lenses often present disconnected visual zones with uneven peripheral performance.
Prisma Lenses
Prisma’s mathematical algorithms create smoother, balanced, and highly optimized progressive vision zones.
Experience the forefront of innovation with our US patented DAFD Technology, the state-of-the-art in freeform lens design.
Dynamic Adaptable Frame Design
Due to geometrical aspects, not all modern and fashionable frame shapes can be used with progressive designs. Although frame shapes are a starting point for buying a new pair of eyeglasses, they are likely to become a limitation when choosing the progressive designs.
In most cases, non-conventional frame shapes prevent progressive zones from being properly defined, and vision comfort is severely affected. In such cases the customer has to change the selected frame shape with a more suitable one. The main challenge today is to accomplish customer fashion frame requests with the best optical vision performance possible.
Prisma DAFD: The Self-Designing Progressive Lens with AI Technology
The foundation of Prisma DAFD (Dynamic Adaptable Frame Design) lies in Prisma’s DVS (Dynamic Vision System) Technology, enabling individual customization of design settings including far and near zones, inset, decentration, and more.
By combining DVS and Prisma AI technology with Prisma Cloud computing infrastructure, DAFD design is generated automatically to match the selected frame shape for optimized visual performance.
Automatic Design Rotation
Aligns progressive zones to fully utilise the frame’s visual area.
Automatic Design Decentration
Guarantees optimal placement for enhanced visual clarity.
Dynamic Progressive Zone Adjustment
Automatically customizes the width of far and near vision zones.
AI-Driven Optimization
Prisma AI analyzes multiple configurations to select the most effective lens design for every wearer.
This ensures the perfect balance between reduced astigmatism, wider clear vision areas, and optimal lens thickness.
DVS – Dynamic Vision System
One of Prisma’s pioneering technologies, serving as the foundation for advanced progressive lens solutions.
The DVS (Dynamic Vision System) technology was developed to address one of the key challenges in the optical industry: the customization of progressive lenses.
Using advanced mathematical algorithms, DVS technology dynamically adapts the distance, intermediate, and near vision zones within a single progressive design to suit the unique needs of every wearer.
• Extended near vision zones for smartphone and tablet users.
• Expanded far vision areas designed for drivers and outdoor use.
• Smooth transitions for a more natural visual experience.
DVS technology incorporates advanced peripheral astigmatism management to create balanced, comfortable, and highly optimized progressive lens performance.
How MyopiaX Works
Single vision design with circular defocus technology that ensures sharp vision across the whole lens, preventing blurry peripheral areas.
Full Lens Clarity
The circular defocus changes the focus points’ positions while moving away from the lens center to follow the eye retina curve as accurately as possible. Traditional Myopia lenses create a blurred image on the peripheral area. MyopiaX focuses light on the retina at every point of the lens, ensuring clear vision throughout.
MyopiaX Toddler
Total defocus: 2.5 Dioptrics | Ages 5-8. Compared to a traditional single vision myopia lens, MyopiaX Toddler is 25% thinner and provides a clear, full-lens vision for young children.
MyopiaX Junior
Total defocus: 1.6 Dioptrics | Ages 9-12. Compared to traditional single vision myopia lenses, MyopiaX Junior is 18% thinner, maintaining a clear image across the entire lens.
MyopiaX Teen
Total defocus: 1 Dioptrics | Ages 13-17. 10% thinner than traditional lenses, providing teens with clear vision and preventing the worsening of myopia.
